RC Belleville - Camp Merrywood
Objective: Provide volunteer and financial support to one of two Easter Seals owned and operated residential camps, which offers a world-class recreation experience for children and youth who have a physical disability. Provide an annual 'sweat equity' initiative for Belleville Rotarians which in addition, serves as a weekend opportunity for fellowship.

DISTRICT 7070 CONFERENCE IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER
The 2022 District Conference is fast approaching. Our District Conference Program Chair, Bowmanville Rotarian, Joe Solway, has put together a great program.
We have 5 key note speakers for our Saturday and Sunday morning plenary sessions, 4 breakout speakers on Saturday afternoon along with The Sentamentalists for our Saturday Gala Dinner entertainment.
More information will be out shortly but I did want to tell you that Dr. Peter Juni, head of the Ontario Science Table and often interviewed on national television, will be one of our Saturday morning key note speakers.
The Marriott Courtyard Ball rooms seat 600 so we have lots of room for social distancing.

APPLICATIONS FOR RYLS DUE BY MARCH 20!!
The 2022 Rotary Youth Leadership Symposium (RYLS) is taking place, May 26-29, 2022 at the Ganaraska Forest Centre! The 3-night experience is geared toward youth between the ages of 17-23 and will offer an inspiring program: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Reconciliation and Land Based Education, Hands-on Activities, Group Dynamics, Toastmasters/Public Speaking, Outdoor Survival and GPS Geocache adventures along with campfires, friendship and tons of fun and learning!!!
Rotary Clubs are encouraged to find and sponsor eligible participants within their community, as well as members of the Rotaract and Interact Clubs that they host.
