Sewing for the DR

On Wednesday March 4th the Rotary Club of Campbellford is hosting a Sewing Social to make reuseable reusable menstrual pads that will help alleviate period poverty in the Dominican Republic for young girls. This is a drop in event - show up when you can & leave when you have to .... Chef Joe is cooking supper and lots of laughs at no charge and no experience required. If you have a sewing machine in that you are comfortable with then it along but we have lots of spare machines and lots of jobs that do not require sewing.
