Rotary Hillcrest P.S. Spelling Bee

On Thursday April  13th Pres-Elect Cathy & Rotarian Rob & Super Exchange Student Tassilo (as Buzz Bee)  attend the Inter-Rotary Spelling Bee at Hillcrest Public School.   37 Eager Students in 2 divisions competed for glory and Chapters/Indigo gift cards.  The junior division resultes were 1st Megan H, 2nd Matthew H & 3rd Jacob Curtis.    The results for the intermediate divison were 1st  Esmerelda W., 2nd Kayla W and 3rd Madision H.    The winners will compete in Belleville on Saturday May 13th for more glory, all spectators are welcome.

We would also like to thank Principal Connie Hodson and Patrick Muldoon and all the teachers at Hillcrest  for organizing and encouraging the students to study and participate in the spelling bee.  The participants for their great efforts in spelling the very difficult words and all the student audience for their support of the contestants.  
 

Kent P.S. will be holding their spelling bee on Wednesday April  26th.
